Grand Coulee Dam is a gravity dam on the Columbia River built to produce hydroelectric power and provide irrigation. It was constructed from 1933- 1942.  It is the largest electric power-producing facility in the US and one of the largest concrete structures in the world.

An unforgettable experience! The Columbia River tells you its story through this narrated production of brilliant lasers that dance across the largest screen on the world the face of Grand Coulee Dam!

More than 3800 mineral properties have been located in the state during the last 100 years.  May of those mining operations have been abandoned and we visit many of those sites.

Visit the Blewitt Pass mining area and the historical town of Liberty, Washington. Following the discovery of gold in Swauk creek in 1873, Liberty was one of several gold-mining camps that sprang up.

Nespelem is a town in Okanogan County, Washington, United States. The population was 236 at the 2010 census. The town is located on the Colville Indian Reservation. The name Nespelem is derived from a local Indian term meaning "large flat meadow"

Nespelem is the site of an historic Nez Perce cemetery. Among those buried there is Chief Joseph.
